When I was a teen-ager, I made most of my clothes. When I was a young mom, I took up cross-stitch in my “spare” time. When the kids got older and I actually HAD some spare time, I tried my hand at quilting, starting with small landscape quilts. By the time I retired, I had branched out into traditional bed quilts and wall-hangings. Then rock painting became a thing, and I tried that, which led me to acrylic on canvas.
